5 Quick Ways To Increase Your E-zine’s Subscriber List

June 19th, 2008

If you’ve been doing any type of “marketing” online at all, then you have heard over and over again the importance of having your own opt-in list. Without a doubt, if you don’t start and continue to build a solid list, then you fail…period. So with this article, I would like to give you a few ways to add a batch of new subscribers to your list and NOT spend one penny to do so.

1. Give Incentives. Give people an incentive to subscribe to your e-zine. Offer them a freebie if they subscribe. It could be a free e-book, free report, free advertising, etc. Make sure the freebie will attract your target audience.

2. Joint Venture. Joint venture with a similar e-zine. Combine your subscriber bases together and publish one e-zine. Edit and publish each issue together. You both will be promoting the e-zine which means more subscribers.

3. Allow Archiving. Allow your subscribers to archive back issues of your e-zine on their web site. They may need content for their web site. If people visit their web site and like your e-zine, they will subscribe.

4. Form an e-zine ring. Team up with 4 to 10 similar e-zines. All the publishers would agree to list each others e-zine name and subscribing information in every issue. You could call this section “Other Free E-zines You Might Enjoy”

5. Ask Subscribers. Ask subscribers to forward your e-zine to close friends, family, or associates. If they enjoy your e-zine, they will subscribe. It’s almost like your subscribers are endorsing your e-zine.

There you go. 5 free ways to add hundreds of brand new subscribers to your list. So get to work.

Cooking meat on your firepit

June 19th, 2008

To cook on your firepit, the meat must be wrapped very tightly before placing it in the fire pit for the cooking process. Once your decision has been made to what item or product you will use then you will follow these steps carefully. After flavoring the meat, you will wrap the meat with several layers of aluminum foil or the other product you decided to use. The meat in the foil must be wrapped thoroughly with lots of wet burlap material this is done to preserve the juices, flavors, and the heat. Finally you will need to wrap the meat package with a heavy wire. When wrapping the meat package with heave wire be sure to wrap it very securely and tie it off extremely tight. This process will not only preserve the juices, heat, and flavors but it will also give you something to hold onto securely when placing into the fire pit. A tip to remember when you are cooking a whole hog on a fire pit is sure to prop the mouth open because this will allow the heat to thoroughly cook the entire hog.

Once the meat is in the fire pit you will need to cover it all with dirt. By covering the meat package with dirt ensure that the burlap material will not burn because no oxygen will get inside the pit. The hot coals is what allows the meat to cook for up to several days if needed. Once the meat is fully cooked to time it will be time for everyone to enjoy the wonderful feast.
