Introduction to Wigs and Styles for Women with Hair Loss
May 30th, 2009Comparing human hair wigs on the Internet probably isn’t your ideal shopping trip. Take it from me, I’m a youthful woman happy to be alive with the tough luck of medical hair loss. I hold pride because only my dear friends know I discreetly wear a few well-done lace wigs from my collection. I’ve got a hunch you’ll find forgotten joy wearing the natural style and feel of well-made lace front wigs. They make a difference for thousands of ladies who appreciate them.
Maybe we have had the same worries looking in the mirror. “Will it slide around?” right there with “Will I even feel like myself in it?” were my panic-driven questions, for sure. These knee jerk reactions have only a bit of truth when you look at the facts so you can understand how many fantastic looking choices are out there. Alopecia wigs, with real hair, grant women of all types with confidence. There’s little to worry endlessly in! People never marvel at a well done wig. Simply ’cause you never even know it apart from someone’s naturally growing hair.
I’ll offer the essential wig choosing tips you should know. Hands down the most realisitc wigs are human hair wigs. Human hair wigs are typically 2 to 3 times more expensive when up against fake wigs–for many reasons. They can be 300% better looking! I definitely recommend them. But an alternative that’s easier on the wallet, synthesized wigs are not a bad option at all and worth your deliberation.
Personally, I spring for the natural human hair wigs because several reasons. They’re more durable and I dye them to match my natural red color. Plus, my children are more comfortable with it.
Either way, conduct due diligence to find a wig that suits you, so you’ll own the look you’ve earned in confidence. Regain your confidence, and even better, be comfortable wearing it. No different than in any fashion decision, your choice of wig contributes to your unique humanity.
Sincerely,
Denise Jonston
